Audawind weaves Skynyrd-esque guitar solos and rolling banjo through diva vocals and infectious drumbeats into a sound crowds can’t help but dance to. The sound of music, that’s what Audawind means and what this band is all about. Audawind is comprised of identical twin brothers Ben, Sam, and sister Shelby. They are from the North Fork of Long Island, an agro-tourism summer community across from the Hamptons. Living in a town that contrasts the glitz of the summer and the ultra rural winters, gave Audawind a unique perspective of the world. If you’re trying to picture who they are, think of the local kids in Jaws…that’s kind of their vibe.
Audawind has entertained crowds across the country. From the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater on Long Island, the Bitter End in NYC, and the Analog in Nashville, to the Desert 5 Spot in LA and the Indiana State Fair, this band has fans coast to coast.
