The sound of music…that’s what Audawind means and what we are all about. We strive to make music that will get you up and moving, or just brighten your day in some way. We are a three-piece country band made up of 3/5 of the Dufton siblings—Sam and Ben (the twins) and Shelby (the only girl out of the 5). We have been playing together for ten years and cannot wait for the many more ahead of us. In our songs you’ll hear the core of the Audawind sound—vocals, acoustic guitar, drums, and bass—alongside some more unique instruments like banjo, harmonica, electric guitar, and whatever else we can get our hands on…spoons perhaps? Audawind is a family affair and our writing roots spread past us three to the source. Ben, Shelby, and our mom make up the Audawind songwriting team. With Ben’s musical expertise and intense passion for songwriting, the girls of the family love putting words to the stories he’s telling. And with Sam as our producer, there’s no limit to what a song can do. We hope you love what ya hear, happy listening!
